He will be sadly missed. I shared many things with him, not only work related as we were work mates. I will never forget the work trip we did together driving all the way to Bavaria and how happy he was to have his Gwynie in his life. I will miss his jokes, his sense of humour, his kindness, his generosity his big heart, his positive attitude, so many different things that made him such a great man. He will always have a place in my heart. One day will meet again and we will a laugh together again. RIP my dear friend.

I do not claim to know Paul as well as most. I do know this though, he was the kindest man I had the pleasure to meet and had all the time in the world for anyone. He embodied what it was to be a free mason and his guidance and reassurance will never be forgotten. A wonderful man with a truly wonderful sense of humour and massive heart to match that amazing personality. He is a credit to his family and to all his children. And even though he will be missed greatly, we will meet again and look forward to hearing some of those thigh slapping stories again. My uncle Paul, what fond memories I have. Although we never saw each other often, like an old best friend, it simply did not matter. Months could go by, years even but whenever I saw you it was as if we'd seen each just yesterday. Such a kind soul and so very funny. Who couldn't love your terrible jokes when you laughed that wonderful laugh, it was impossible not to laugh too. I still tell that classic you told me to my year 11 pupils each year: If you fail your exams kids, remember two things: 1) you tried your best and 2) I don't want gherkins on my Big Mac :) Such a wonderful man, simply like no other. It makes me happy that you found the love of your life and you were so happy. I'll miss you uncle Paul. Xxx
