Obituary of Robert Henry Palmer
Rob was born to parents Henry and Maria, who met in Holland during the war, Maria being Dutch. He was the middle child with an older sister Jeanette and younger brother Michael. Rob grew up in Hartcliffe and went to Hartcliffe school, leaving at 15 to work for Cameroon balloons. He then went into the heating and plumbing trade. Having worked for several companies he decided to run his own business at age 30 which continued to prosper until he died. His family were the most important thing in his life, along with close friends. But everyone that knew him described him as having a big heart and highly moral with strong beliefs that no one could detract him from. When he died he was in a place he enjoyed so much, sat in the sun in his apartment in Spain, with a beer by his side. He touched so many people's lives and will be missed by those who knew him as husband, dad, bampa, brother, father in law, son in law, brother in law, uncle, friend, Masonic brother, plumber.
