Heya Dad, just a little catch-up. We're all doing OK, doing the garden every Saturday and it's looking really good, obviously not completely weed free like you would have but really pleased with it. It is knackering though and mum's doing well with it although I think sometimes it's a little too much - although she won't admit it haha, and getting Gary down there as well doing all the up keep and sorting the fire. You'd love baby Iris, although she's keeping Terry and Carla on their toes by not sleeping! Mark's doing really well (and busy) working on new projects and he's helping mum out with the house updates / bits that need sorting. Thank god Natalie's had the all clear, Andrew's working with Mike atm, but think he's going to do more of the cleaning side. Gary's doing OK aches and pains but he's getting old now hah and it's his bday tomorrow 58 - don't worry I've got him his precious Pepsi... I've got my 3monthly hospital checkup tomorrow so keep your fingers crossed for me and I'm having my heart scan. I'm also doing a 34mile walk (in 1 day)! 25 June - I don't know if I've bitten off more than I can do?... But overall Dad we're all OK, keep looking over us. You are forever loved, always missed ️xx

Heya Dad, looks like I'm the last one this year to send you a little message well, it's been up and down so far this year but we're all going it's going to end on a high - so keep looking over us and keeping an eye out for trouble lurking in the shadows.. Heya Dad just wanted to say happy anniversary. Popping up to see mum in a bit, probably have a cup of a tea as well. She's doing OK trying to get her out more walking and we're going away soon for a week so that'll be nice, obviously you'll be with us as usual. Hi Steve just want to wish you a happy father's Day ? hope you're relaxing with doing a bit of gardening, I've been going down the garden with Sam,mark and our Andrew the last two weekends we have cut nearly all the over grown grass,we are going to rebuild the fruit cage but this time with metal so it will last longer. Happy Happy 68th Birthday Dad. Hey Dad thought I'd say a quick hello for the beginning of hopefully a better year then the last one! Just got back from a walk around the docks with mum and Mark and the dog or was cold and a bit wet but nice to do it early gotta bit busier on the way back and mum needed a wee (as usual) and she just made it to the toilet in the SS Great Britain hah. 2 years today Dad. You wouldn't believe how much you've missed - good and bad. And that makes me sad not being able to have a chat, gossip and a laugh with you. You also know this is the 2nd year that I'm having to find lifts for the icy snow season! Some days are tough Dad, and just coming back home makes me want to cry, but then I see a robin in the garden or the film 'the vikings' with kirk douglas comes on and it feels like you're trying tell us that you're around. Silly I know, but it helps me and Gary. You do know he's bored out of his mind now you're not phoning him every 10minutes and he hasn't anyone to argue with. 1 year has past since we spoke last Dad. Grief is a strange thing, it catches you by surprise - a song on the radio, a TV programme, places we've all visited, the sound of a motorbike - so many memories Dad. Sometimes they make me cry, sometimes just sad, but mostly they make me happy - it's all about the memories and don't forget the photos! Steve loved his family--his wife, his 4 children and grandchildren he was there whenever they needed. He always gave advice but ensured they made there own decisions He loved his cars and although they were never new he would tinker with them until they ran right and polished them until they gleamed like new,.he also loved his bike that only came out in the sunshine - the fair weather driver! He loved his garden which he called his sanctuary where he loved digging planting and sitting in the sun topping up his tan. He always used to say 'who needs to go abroad when we got all this in England'. He was a keen fisherman he took all three sons - one course fishing that was Mark, fly fishing was Andrew and sea fishing was Terry and in later life it was Gary, doing course fishing even though Gary never touched the fish with his bare hands!. He loved being at home always pottering around - he could never keep still unless it was watching documentaries on history, science - space, nature or cars/bikes. He will always be the love of our lives and the hole he's left is undescribably. You'll be home again soon Steve, love you. X
