RIP Thorny You were a role model, inspiration and mentor when I was a young Scaffolder. And a loyal employee when I became your boss. A hard man but a gentleman.

John it was a pleasure to work with you at Hills delivery for many years. You were such a good story teller. Even if you did crack up laughing half way through telling one. A true gent. Rest in peace Thorney x

I have the fondest memories of John and will always remember him for calling me Danks! Me and his lovely daughter Becky used to have the best times with John, I will never forget our time roller skating in the back of his lorry, to say me and Becky ended up with a few bruises is an understatement! I had the best childhood and shared many fond memories with John, Mary and Becky ? Such a lovely family and it is such devestating news to hear about John. Nothing can be said at this sad time but the amount of people who love John and have fond memories of him is truly unbelievable ❤️ #Legend
