Tena Kutou, Tena Koutou, Tena Koutou Katoa from your New Zealand whanau to the Holland whanau wherever you may be. We are saddened by the mate of our greatly loved and respected Mavis, the widow of my Great Uncle Peter, and thus the end of the John Charles and Kate Holland tamariki line. Both Di and self have many fond memories of them both, especially at Wren Cottage in 1979 with our 2 eldest children, and of the latter years our telecoms with Mavis, especially the annual Christmas one. Probably the most memorable occasion was Peter and Mavis's 50th at Simons where I met so many of the Holland whanau for the first time. In closing Mavis can be remembered for her very loving, kind and passionate manner, one who had a "good innings" felled by this terrible worldwide Covid-19. Nga manaakitanga, keep well.
