Peter was the rock in the family living in in the same house he was always there as a base for us to return to after moving around from place to place. he had a caring side like when I was travelling from Indonesia to Zimbabwe he thoughtI neede rest in between so he booked a hotel for me, also sending me a thank you card after cutting his hair. we had our ups and downs but will miss him very much.

Peter was somebody special: very talented in many aspects, very interested in cars (esp. Rover and BMW); open-minded: and always prepared to take a risk. In other words: he was a character and we certainly will never forget him.

I have such a soft spot for Uncle Peter. He was a bit odd at times, a bit difficult a lot talented and a lot interesting as a kid a lot scary as an adult well loved. I wish I could. have travelled from New Zealand to be with my cousins as they say goodbye to their dad and I say goodbye to my uncle. Kia Kaha whanau x
